Andris Nelsons, Renée Fleming, and Rod Gilfry with the Boston Symphony Orchestra

On November 21, 22, and 23, Andris Nelsons leads the BSO in a special performance of Kevin Puts’ The Brightness of Light, featuring acclaimed soprano Renée Fleming and baritone Rod Gilfry, and accompanied by video artist Wendall Harrington’s lush projections. This BSO co-commission tells the romantic love story of painter Georgia O’Keefe and her husband, Alfred Stieglitz, and was premiered by the BSO in 2019. The program also includes two high-spirited pieces by Mozart, the charming overture to Die Entführung aus dem Serail and his Symphony No. 36, Linz.
