Tour with the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig
Andris Nelsons embarks on a European tour with the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig from February 24 until March 12. The program will feature, depending on date and location, Dvořák’s “Das goldene Spinnrad” or his Symphony No. 8, Mendelssohn’s Concerto for two pianos and orchestra in E major, Mahler’s Symphony No. 4 or an excerpt from his Symphony No. 1. Nikola Hillebrand will be the soprano soloist in Mahler’s Symphony No. 4, and Lucas and Arthur Jussen will be the soloists in Mendelssohn’s Concerto.
