2022 Tanglewood Season

Andris Nelsons will return to Tanglewood for the 2022 season, featuring an entire summer of spectacular music in the beauty of the Berkshires. From June 17-September 4, Tanglewood presents a wide range of programs that spotlight favorite returning musicians and repertoire and introduce dynamic new performers and eclectic programming.

Nelsons will conduct the Boston Symphony Orchestra for a variety of different concerts, including performances of the US premiere of Helen Grime’s’ Trumpet Concerto with soloist Håkan Hardenberger on 10 July and on 24 July Brahms” Piano Concerto No.2 with soloist Seong-Jin Cho. On 17 July, Nelsons will conduct the US premiere of Fazıl Say’s’ Piano Concerto for four hands, featuring the Jussen brothers as soloists, who will be making their Tanglewood debut.
