Andris Nelsons conducts Andres and Brahms with the BSO
On November 15, 17, 18 & 19 Andris Nelsons leads the Boston Symphony Orchestra in a concert series which features a diverse programme, including the world premiere of Timo Andres’ Everything Happens So Much (BSO commission), Brahms’ Piano Concerto No. 2 with soloist Hélène Grimaud, as well as the composer’s Symphony No. 3. The concerts are part of a multi-week Brahms ‘mini-fest’ which highlights a survey of his works.
Mr. Nelsons and Ms. Grimaud previously collaborated on a CD release of the Brahms Piano Concerti, which is available for purchase via Amazon.
