Andris Nelsons is honoured to be recipient of two Gramophone Awards this year: in the Best Orchestral category for his recording of Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 10 with the Boston Symphony Orchestra under the Deutsche Grammophon label, and in the Best Contemporary category for his recording of Hans Abrahamsen’s “let me tell you”, featuring Barbara Hannigan and the Sinfonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks under the Winter&Winter label. The 2016 awards ceremony will take place on September 15th in London.
