Andris Nelsons will become Artist-in-Residence of the Konzerthaus Dortmund

Andris Nelsons has been announced as the next Artist-in-Residence of the Konzerthaus Dortmund. Starting in the 2016/17 season, Nelsons will be bringing his close orchestra partners to perform in Dortmund’s extraordinary state of the art concert hall.

Performance highlights in the first season include a concert with the Gewandhausorchester in June 2017, as well as concerts with Vienna Philharmonic, Philharmonia Orchestra, and Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. Andris Nelsons is looking forward to bringing his close orchestra partners to Dortmund and sharing unique performances and musical moments with the warm audience of the Konzerthaus Dortmund.
